At Zepra, flavors are innovative, the waitstaff is highly knowledgeable and the whole ambience breathes new life into the restaurant experience. Its whole concept is to share small plates recommended by the staff according to the diners’ preferences – taking the guessing game out of choosing what sounds best from the 75+ strong menu options. Leave it up to those who know, and you will be more than pleasantly surprised by what ends up before you.

Zepra is truly a fusion of Asian cuisine, executed with artful precision. Close to 10 countries are represented on the menu (not even including the wine list, which boasts varieties from South Africa and Australia among others).

Dive into extreme flavors from China and Singapore to Korea and Thailand. The popcorn black tiger shrimp arrives looking like a delicate piece of honey-comb, the crunchy tempura shell of each shrimp glazed in togarashi creme, and the 100% pure blood Japanese Andes Wagyu steak is spiced in a spritely combination of pepper and lime. The Cantonese Rainbow trout swims in bold flavors including a mushroom tea, enoki, wild beets and truffle oil and the mushroom Taro Har Gaw dumplings are ripe with wild black variations in a delicately whipped creme sauce.

True to it’s name, a unique winged bird with Zebra stripes, it symbolizes the Indonesian saying “binka tunggal ika”, which translates to ‘what happens when various parts create a perfect whole’. Such is this winning restaurant, a harmonizing of raw ingredients, spices and cultures that achieve such a balanced blend, it can only be translated to culinary perfection.
