If there are any signs to look for when choosing a wine bar, having a wine bar with two winemakers is a distinct advantage. Winemaker Roni Saslove – one of the first female winemakers in Israel – wins national awards for her Saslove wines. Avshalom Cohen, who spent 10 years in Thailand, did a harvest at Saslove winery, fell in love with wine and planted his own vineyard in the Upper Galilee – the Avshalom Winery. Together, they create a wine-tasting experience focused on every little detail: food pairings, lighting and ambiance.

The Tasting Room is a unique wine-tasting concept where customers get a smart card with which they can taste over 40 diverse wines from all over Israel and the world, providing a unique journey of various wine regions.

Located in Tel Aviv's Sarona compound – a 140- year-old Templer colony – this unforgetable wine cellar takes you on a magical tasting tour of the leading wineries in Israel. Roni Saslove provides unique opportunities revolving around fine wines with 'Meet the Winemaker' events, tastings and private tastings on request.

The impeccable design of the Tasting Room will go so far as to thrill wine lovers and creative spirits alike, with every aspect of the experience designed with a strong attention to awakening your senses. Drawings of mythical creatures blended with animals embellish the walls (even the placemats have funky drawings), making the atmosphere perfect for when the second glass of wine starts to take effect. The walls are lined with dispensers, giving the customer the option to taste a sip, half-a-glass or sample a full glass with a personal smart card. You may open or take home any bottle you see from over 650 delicious wines…

If you were going to imagine a night out with friends over a drink or a romantic date, then this would fit the bill. Relaxing and chic, the mood's set for when you really want to catch up over a glass of vino and savor some bites with a detailed playlist that compliments the adventure. Look for the sister wine shop by the same name, open at the Sarona Market, giving you a taste of over 20 wines for the customer to enjoy while shopping through an eclectic mix of specialty food shops and eateries. The menu focuses on ultimate wine pairing choices like artisanal local meat platters, organic boutique goat cheese offerings and the crunchy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside sourdough-rye loaf by local baker Adon Shifon. The bruschetta has variations like the smoked salmon, truffle butter and date syrup version, the salty and sweet Hameiri cheese and sweet Panforte bruschetta or the crowd-favorite – an artichoke spread with fresh basil and truffle butter.

For wining and dining after a long day, customers can grab a seat on the bar and chat with the sommelier or any of the knowledgeable staff who can expound upon what they're drinking. For a group rendezvous, Tasting Room is perfectly fitted as they have a beautiful VIP room for private events. Once a little tipsy, stroll through the enchanting Sarona and admire the whimsical mix of urban chic with the stunning  antique structures.
